Judge Orders Formula

Why would a judge order a woman to give formula to a baby who is healthy and doing well, breastfeeding?  Who is to say when a child should be weaned?  What is the point of weaning a child from the breast, only to introduce a bottle, if both mother and child are satisfied with breastfeeding?  Many children have allergies and struggle with formula.  Some natural health warnings have indicated, it's really not the wholesome food replacement, so many have been programmed to believe.

As it turns out in a custody case, the judge has ordered the mother to let the child stay with the father over night . . .

My thought here.  Send the child with bottle of milk or whatever, pump while she's gone, and resume breast feeding when she returns to mom.  Meanwhile, let the papa deal with a very, very dissatisfied little 10 month old for one week-end and I'm guessing he'll be asking the judge to rescind the "dry up" order.

It's bad enough that doctors intimidate mothers, but now we have judges making these sort of orders.  Come on America, wake up!
